It has been great fun with the kids!
I have been busy filling orders for pillows. Lots of "State Love" hand embroidered pillows and hand painted monogram pillows.
I have a few ideas for new designs and finally had time to create this one.
I call it the Chevron Double Cross Applique Pillow.
Hope you like it. I might just have to make one for myself because it matches my master bedroom decor perfectly, my hubby even said so!

It is time for end-of-the-year teacher gifts in our area. I can't believe that the school year has gone by so fast and that school has let out for the summer in some areas of the country.
So, my preschooler's room moms decided on a themed class gift. They are getting super cute summer tote bags for the teachers and everyone in the class is helping to fill the bags with things for relaxing during the summer. Our assignment was monogrammed drink koozies.
Here is what I came up with:

Here is what I came up with:
I used my favorite chevron fabric and embroidered the monograms in an elegant font. The other side of the koozies are black terry cloth and have a button/elastic loop closure. The koozies measure 10X4 when complete.
The first set I made only had the initial of the teacher's last name.
I had more than enough fabric left over so I made some fabric monogrammed bookmarks with ribbon accents. The bookmarks measure 2X7.
We still have one more week of school and the teachers get their gifts this coming week. I hope they like them!
